Accelerated initial qualification for truck and bus drivers

Prepare for professional driving with the accelerated initial qualification under the BKrFQG and the associated IHK examination.

Your route into the profession

The appropriate driving licence and professional driver qualification are required for many professional journeys. Your training needs depend on your previous qualifications, the date your licence was issued and your intended work. We discuss these with you.

Theory and practice

The standard accelerated initial qualification includes 140 training units of 60 minutes, with at least ten units of supervised practical driving. Shorter routes apply to certain prior qualifications.

You learn through practical examples, group activities and examination preparation. Topics include safe and economical driving, legal requirements and everyday work in goods or passenger transport.

Completion

The course is followed by a theory examination at the IHK. Our course normally takes about one month. Ask us about the timetable and teaching language.

Initial qualification or periodic training?

Initial qualification prepares you to enter the profession. Periodic training refreshes an existing qualification. It does not replace a required initial qualification and is separate from renewing your driving licence.
